Chinese medicine can treat a wide variety of conditions. Although I specialize in chronic pain and soft tissue injuries, stress management and weight management are also my areas of interest. However, Chinese medicine is not limited to these conditions. Below is a list of some of the conditions that Chinese medicine can treat:

    • Fatique and low energy

  • Reproductive & Menstrual

    • Period Pain
    • Menopausal Symptoms
    • Labour Induction
  • Mental-Emotional

  • Dermatological
    • Eczema
    • Acne
    • Psoriasis

  • Miscellaneous
    • Weight Loss
    • Quit Smoking
    • Addictions

Why do I get sick?
Generally, you get sick because of stress. And stress can come in different forms. There is physical stress as seen in soft tissue injuries and fractures. Then there is emotional and mental stress. Once your body becomes too weak (not enough Qi) to sustain the stress, this is when you get the different signs and symptoms.

How can I stay healthy?
You can stay healthy by continuing to improve your lifestyle in line with the principles of Chinese medicine. Treating your current condition is just as important as staying healthy. Once your initial symptom is gone we have to focus on correcting your lifestyle which may have contributed to the disease in the first place. This can be done by eating better, exercising better, thinking better and therefore feeling better.

If my condition is not getting any better what should I do?
If you find that after a number of treatments and your condition is not improving, let us know so we can take the necessary action. This may involve re-confirming your western medicine diagnosis through your GP or referring you to different modalities. As your primary health practitioner, it is also our responsibility to make sure that Chinese medicine is the best treatment for you. If we feel that you will get more benefits from a different therapy, then it is also our obligation to suggest to you to try that particular therapy.
